Drainage Foreman, Christchurch

Responsibilities My client is seeking an experienced Qualified Drain Layer to manage a small crew and complete various maintenance works and projects across Canterbury. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of 3 waters, drainage, and small civil works. Key responsibilities include: Managing and leading a small crewExcavating trenches and laying pipes according to project requirements Operating heavy machinery including excavators, rollers, and loaders Communicating with managers and construction teams to meet targets (daily, weekly, and key milestones) A successful candidate will: Have 2-5 years of New Zealand-based experience in civil, residential, and/or stormwater systemsHold a Certified Drainlayer ticket and be CCC authorized (preferred) Ideally have W, T, and R endorsements Hold a clean full Class 1 or 2 NZ Driver’s License Have good written and verbal communication skills Be able to pass all pre-employment checks Have a solid work ethic and be able to work well within a teamWhat’s in it for you: A competitive hourly rate Strong team environment with career development opportunities Jobs in Canterbury and Otago (if preferred) 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Immediate start Note: Applicants must have full NZ working rights and be located in New Zealand to be considered for this role.If you're looking for a change in your role, now is the time to get in touch with Max Goodman from Stellar Recruitment at or call 021 192 4899.
