Southern Cross Christchurch Hospital Theatre Orderly Southern Cross Christchurch Hospital is the largest hospital within Southern Cross Healthcare’s national network, located centrally in Christchurch. The hospital features ten digital operating theatres, robotic technology with a skilled robotic team, advanced digital scanning technologies, and onsite consulting facilities.It offers a comprehensive preadmission service, admissions, day surgery, and three inpatient wards including a high dependency unit. The hospital provides a wide range of elective surgical services such as Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Oral and Facial Maxillary, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Plastic&Reconstructive, Bariatric, General, and Endoscopic surgeries. Over 350 highly skilled staff ensure high-quality patient care. About the Role We seek a dynamic and energetic individual to join as a Theatre Orderly. This physically demanding role requires good physical fitness, the ability to multitask, and prioritize workload effectively. Responsibilities include moving patient beds safely around the hospital, monitoring and restocking stock levels, and cleaning designated areas to maintain high standards of hospital service.
