Job Description Supply Chain Associate Location: 84 Division St, Manistee, MI 49660 Store: MIMAN Public Store Part-time Shift(s): MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm Hours: 10 - 28 hours/week Overview Embark on a dynamic journey as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in supply chain excellence. You will manage inventory and support business-to-business operations through procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions to meet customer needs and drive business success. This role is based at our branch in Manistee, MI, with potential for flexible scheduling after onboarding and training.Responsibilities Manage branch inventory levels Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management Estimate/quote prices and source products Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs Support accounts receivable activities Make deliveries using a company vehicle as neededPerform other duties to ensure branch success Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or have relevant work experienceExcellent communication skills Proficient in computer skills Motivated, self-directed, customer service-oriented Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency Organized, able to plan and prioritize effectively Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to lift packages weighing 25-75 lbsPass drug screening (where applicable) Training&Development Our Fastenal School of Business offers comprehensive training—including on-the-job, online, instructor-led, and virtual courses—to equip you with the skills needed for success and growth within the company.
