Our company is the prepaid market leader with over 7,000 retail outlets nationwide providing prepaid products via Point of Sale, back office systems, and eftpos terminals. The Role: Reporting to the National Independent Channel Manager, we are looking to appoint a professional Christchurch&South Island - ICT Account Manager who can manage and build mutually beneficial and profitable relationships with both existing and future retailers in the Route/Convenience channel. This is a hunter-farmer role—looking after current customers, growing their business, and seeking new accounts. As an ICT Account Manager , you will manage a territory with significant sales potential and will be the face of the company to your customers. This role suits someone with ICT sales experience who is a strong sales hunter and is comfortable cold calling and knocking on doors to reach decision makers.Your key duties will include: Selling, installing, managing, and troubleshooting IT hardware and software related to point of sale, back office systems, and EFTPOS terminals. Ensuring existing clients are well-managed and relationships are strengthened. Cold calling and door knocking to find new opportunities and open new accounts.Maintaining a regular call cycle within your client base. Developing sales potential and achieving sales targets. Maximizing sales opportunities within company retailers. Skills and Experience: To be considered, you will need: Two or more years of proven sales and/or new business development experience.Confidence in communication and deal-making. Excellent solution sales and relationship-building skills. Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail. A team player attitude with the ability to work autonomously. Ability to take advice and follow sales guidelines. Personable, self-motivated, trustworthy, resilient, well-presented, and eager to succeed.Previous experience in the route convenience channel is highly desirable.
