Description
We are on the lookout for an energetic Store Manager who can oversee the smooth running of our business in the Canterbury region. You will be responsible for excellent customer service and proactively managing store operations. The position offers a pay rate of $29.66 to $32 per hour, depending on experience, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. This is a permanent role.Key Responsibilities: Oversee the smooth running of the store. Ensure products are priced appropriately based on purchasing costs and gross margins. Liaise with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels, avoiding shortages or excess. Set and adhere to store budgets. Handle materials and ensure safe storage of goods.Manage cash register and handle cash meticulously. Keep the store neat and presentable at all times. Manage staff on shift. Attend to customer inquiries via phone and resolve doubts. Promote ongoing promotions and deals to maximize sales. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies. Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff performance.Qualifications and Skills: At least three years of relevant experience or a Level 4 or higher qualification in Business or Management. Excellent team player with the ability to follow instructions. Physically fit and willing to work hard. Attention to detail with practical problem-solving skills.Positive 'can-do' attitude.
