ASSISTANT MANAGER, Christchurch

We’re on the hunt for some Assistant Managers to invest their passion in the daily operations. You’ll assist with the store’s day-to-day activities, look after a team of high-energy staff, create exceptional customer service, manage operational processes, and of course, the burgers! We are seeking a capable Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to join our busy team.Your key responsibilities will be to: Assist with managing the store Prepare rosters in conjunction with the store manager Oversee performance, attitude, presentation, knowledge, and training of all staff Maintain a clean and tidy appearance of the entire operation, including any maintenance workEnsure stock levels are maintained at the correct level Ensure all stock is available and not run out during operation Ensure customer wants and needs are met and, where possible, exceeded Carry out quality control checks Maintain standards required for hygiene and safety in the food preparation areaAssist with handling complaints and queries on various matters Ensure stock in fridges is temperature controlled Maintain standards for hygiene and safety Assist in taking orders and supporting staff during busy periods Demonstrate good communication skills and a strong work ethic at all timesAssist the store manager in staff selection and training Support local marketing initiatives alongside the store manager Key Requirements: You will have a tertiary qualification or at least two to three years of relevant supervisory or management experience. You must be able to work long hours, including weekends and during the festive season.You should be able to pass police checks and drug tests if necessary. We offer a minimum of 32 guaranteed hours per week. Remuneration will be $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
