We are seeking a sales person to coordinate sales of our product range through supermarkets, domestic shops, smaller retailers, food service, and online sales.We offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our fast-paced team. You will need drive and tenacity to work hard, make contacts, manage details of new and existing contracts, and deliver sales. The position is based in Christchurch. Job brief We are looking for an experienced and organized Sales Assistant to support sales activities both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact for colleagues and customers, maintaining schedules and providing feedback, documentation, quotes, and information to current and potential clients.The goal is to facilitate the sales team’s activities to maximize performance and foster the company’s long-term development. Responsibilities Identify local and overseas business opportunities. Manage sales activities such as scheduling, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information internally and with customers.Ensure sales-related equipment and materials are adequate. Respond to customer complaints and provide after-sales support as needed. Store and organize financial and non-financial data electronically and prepare sales reports. Process all orders accurately and promptly. Inform clients of any delays or issues.Assist in preparing and organizing promotional materials or events. Coordinate production and purchasing plans with other departments. Ensure compliance with laws and policies. Requirements Experience as a sales coordinator or in related administrative roles is a plus. Experience with MYOB is beneficial.Proficiency in English. Well-organized, responsible, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player with high dedication. BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; sales or marketing certification is an asset.
