High-performing, warm and inclusive team Growth opportunities, flexible working conditions + free parking Kīwi-owned Brand - Aotearoa's largest farming co-operative Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity Due to internal promotion, we're seeking a Management Accountant to join our team in a full-time, permanent role, working 80 hours per fortnight at our Christchurch Support Office.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support various departments in making informed economic decisions by analyzing their financial performance and supporting areas. You will apply best practice financial disciplines and contribute to the timely preparation of group management reports. Responsibilities include:Building strong relationships across the business with senior finance and operational management, understanding their areas, and assisting with financial reporting. Completing general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis. Leading the preparation of annual budgets with management, forecasting financial performance using financial modelling, and understanding economic factors.Providing management with financial reports and assisting in business case preparations for projects. An auditing background with broad industry exposure is advantageous.
