Climate Change and Sustainability Manager ANZCO Foods has an opportunity for a Climate Change and Sustainability Manager to join the team. Based in Christchurch at our Corporate Office, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the climate change and sustainability plan and projects. The position will suit someone with a passion for sustainability and who enjoys engaging with various stakeholders.Responsibilities include: Drive strategic action: Implement our climate change and sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes. Champion innovation: Collaborate with teams across ANZCO to develop continuous improvement and sustainability-focused innovations.Lead emissions reporting: Manage the delivery of accurate and timely emissions data for annual Climate Change&Sustainability reports and inventories. Manage projects: Oversee various sustainability initiatives that balance environmental responsibility with business performance. Engage and influence: Work with internal and external stakeholders to advance our decarbonisation plan and embed sustainable practices.Ensure compliance: Maintain compliance with GHG Protocol standards, regulations, and legislation. Build culture and capability: Foster a culture that supports technical growth and sustainability leadership. Skills and experience required: 2-5 years' experience in sustainability Tertiary qualification in sustainability, agriculture, or environmental scienceUnderstanding of GHG Protocol (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) Experience developing and implementing decarbonisation strategies aligned with Science-based targets Proficiency in emissions, life-cycle analysis, and carbon accounting Knowledge of climate disclosure frameworks (CRD, ISSB, TCFD, GRI, CDP) We deliver taste, nutrition, and wellbeing to the world with products made from New Zealand's finest beef and lamb.
