About the opportunity We’re on the hunt for a Territory Sales Representative to join our Sydenham Branch and help make our brands and services available to the Trade. It’s a role where you’ll balance gaining and servicing profitable sales across your customer base whilst delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll partner with some of our biggest customers and get fully immersed with a fantastic and fun team environment. This is a role with potential to lead to bigger things! About youOur preferred candidate has a strong sales and systems focus and likes to spend time truly understanding our customers and providing relevant solutions in a timely manner. Technical electrical or trade knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement– what’s important is a “can-do” attitude.We are after a self-starter who is keen to learn. We will be with you every step of the way to coach and mentor you. Some of your key responsibilities will include:Performing a customer call cycle and cold calling. Developing and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships, identifying business opportunities to increase sales and margin levels. Keeping abreast of commercial and financial requirements to achieve KPIs and targets. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.Reporting and attending sales seminars.
