This is a newly created, permanent full-time role reporting to the General Manager - Assets and Facilities. About Us VenuesŌtautahi owns and manages iconic venues including Christchurch Town Hall, Wolfbrook Arena, Apollo Projects Stadium, Hagley Oval, the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, and soon, One New Zealand Stadium. Our purpose is to deliver social, cultural, and economic benefits to the region through our diverse venues and events.About the Role We are seeking an Assets and Facilities Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of all physical assets and facilities within One New Zealand Stadium, which will be New Zealand's premier and most accessible venue. The role involves ensuring the stadium's infrastructure, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained, safe, functional, and ready for events. Reporting directly to the General Manager - Assets and Facilities, key responsibilities include:Overseeing maintenance requirements to ensure facilities are prepared for events and daily use. Managing the operation of critical infrastructure such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Managing all stadium assets, including building systems, equipment, and seating. Developing and managing the annual budget for facilities and asset management.Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Collaborating with the Event Operations Manager and external vendors for facility services. About You The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience in a similar facilities or asset management role. Strong skills in managing building systems, infrastructure, and data analysis.Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulations specific to stadiums and large facilities.
