They are renowned for their award-winning work on high-end architectural builds, multi-storey commercial offices, industrial warehouses, hotels, educational institutions, and retail spaces.The Role: As a Senior Structural Technician, you’ll be joining a medium-sized consultancy in their Christchurch office, where you'll mentor and lead a team of 4 Drafters. You will have experience in the NZ market as an accomplished Revit Technician with a strong understanding of NZ Building Codes and Standards. As a recognised Senior Revit Technician, you'll play a key role in managing project workflows, overseeing your team's progress, and contributing to projects across the country.Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Drafters, ensuring high-quality outputs and professional growth. Establish and maintain drafting standards to improve efficiency and consistency. Utilise Revit and other software to produce accurate, high-quality structural drawings. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.Review and refine Revit models to optimise efficiency and enhance project workflows. Conduct site inspections and provide on-site support as needed. Stay up to date with industry advancements, implementing best practices and emerging technologies in structural drafting.
