This role involves assisting with the daily operations of our on-site café. At Summerset, we are passionate about delivering quality service and are experiencing rapid growth.We value your customer service ethic as much as your technical skills. Our Café Assistant is often the face of our business, requiring the ability to relate to a diverse range of people, especially the elderly and their families. This is a casual position on an as-needed basis, with availability during 10 am-6 pm on weekdays required.Your responsibilities will include: Greeting customers, processing orders, making coffee, and serving food Adhering to the Food Control Plan requirements to ensure compliance Cleaning all kitchen surfaces, washing dishes, and removing rubbish Assisting the chef with unloading and storing stockSupporting food preparation activities Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will: Be outgoing, friendly, and proactive Enjoy providing excellent customer service to residents and guests Be capable of supporting the Chef with high-quality, timely assistance Preferably have experience in coffee making, food preparation, and presentationEnjoy working independently and as part of a team Additional Information: What’s in it for you?
