Senior Draughtsperson, Christchurch

We’re looking for an experienced draughtsperson with expertise in detailed CAD design to join our tight-knit, creative and collaborative CAD&Visualisation team. This role will see you providing electrical design draughting services to our clients while supporting the wider team in securing and delivering our projects. Your role will involve developing detailed drawings, from concept designs through to final completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. As a key contributor to the team, you will also lead the advance of innovative CAD&graphic presentation tools, utilising data from software analysis packages to enhance project visualisation and efficiency. You will also get the opportunity to: Develop detailed CAD designs for high voltage substations and power stations Plan, monitor and control resources including financial resourcesCreate and refine systems for the automation of drawing design and train other staff in their use and development About You You will be an experienced design draughtsperson with a passion for CAD draughting and associated disciplines and eager to share your knowledge and skills in software and technologies.You will also need an Engineering qualification or a suitable equivalent, with experience with Autodesk products such as AutoCAD and BIM software.
