Committed to making energy cleaner and cheaper for Aotearoa New Zealand, our Retail structure is made up of a network of empowered teams, united by a shared purpose and clear goals, equipped with the skills and capabilities to deliver value to customers end to end.As Workflow Automation Specialist, you will help to make performance data easier to access and act on by automating manual processes and improving workflows. Working with hub leads and the Service Enhancement team, you’ll turn data into actionable insights that drive high-performance outcomes and free up our teams to focus on what matters most—delivering value to our customers.Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining automated workflows and reporting tools to streamline recurring tasks and improve overall efficiency. You’ll generate accurate operational and performance data to support daily operations, performance monitoring, and strategic decision-making, presenting insights in clear, actionable formats such as dashboards, visualisations, and reports. Developing a good understanding of the Customer RelationshipTeam’s strategy and deliverables, and actively contributing to agile ceremonies and delivery cycles, you’ll use your data expertise to improve workflow and processes, adding demonstratable value. You’ll evaluate existing workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes thatreduce friction and complexity for frontline teams. Building strong relationships and partnering with other Enablement specialists, service teams, and stakeholders to deliver integrated initiatives that support service performance and operational goals is key to this role.This will be a 12-month fixed term contract and will be based in our Christchurch office. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative professional with a demonstrated ability to design and implement workflow or data automation solutions. You’ll have proven experience in performance and operational data analysis, reporting, and visualisation, along with a track record of reviewing and enhancing processes or workflows to improve service outcomes. Your collaborative and proactive approach to working across multiple teams and disciplineswill ensure seamless outcomes.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling you to convey technical insights in an accessible way to various stakeholders. You’ll be outcome-oriented and self-motivated, with a strong bias toward action and a commitment to delivering value through small, iterative improvements.At Meridian, we value all people.
