Assistant Manger, Christchurch

Flex Fitness Colombo is seeking an Assistant Manager for our premium gym facility in Christchurch. The role is suitable for an energetic, positive individual who enjoys helping people and fostering a friendly club culture. Available hours are 20-30 per week, with potential additional hours in Marketing&Content management for candidates with relevant experience. The Assistant Manager will support the club manager in various tasks including administration, sales, prospect calls, body scans, cleaning, and handling general inquiries. A First Aid Certificate is required and must be presented before employment.Responsibilities Member Experience: Create a welcoming environment for members and visitors. Respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Monitor and improve member satisfaction and retention strategies. Engage with members to understand and support their goals. Implement initiatives like challenges and rewards to boost loyalty.Operations Management: Oversee daily gym operations, including opening/closing, equipment maintenance, and cleaning. Manage facility upkeep to ensure safety and cleanliness. Coordinate repairs or replacements of equipment. Sales and Marketing: Implement marketing strategies to attract and retain members.Support internal marketing via online channels, social media, and local advertising. Monitor sales and work towards growth targets. Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols. Conduct safety inspections and address hazards. Ensure First Aid certificates are current. Community Engagement:Organize events, challenges, and workshops to foster community. Collaborate with local organizations on health initiatives.
