We succeed together living up to the values of Safety, Empowering People, Integrity, Dependability, Engineering for Quality, Owning Our Story, and Driving Profitability.AIRCRAFT TRADESPERSON We are currently recruiting for qualified (Level 4) tradespeople with an Electrical / Electrician background who may have worked in the aviation, mechanical engineering, automotive, or similar sector for permanent full-time positions in our Repair team. This is perfect for someone who can work in defined processes, is quality and safety oriented, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn. You will receive full training and comprehensive onboarding.Your Role After your first induction training, you will undergo comprehensive hands-on training in the Electrical Harness section; working closely with your Lead Hand to complete inspections, repairs, testing, troubleshooting, and overhauls of harnesses. Use our computer systems (SAP&Solumina) to document and record your work. Ensure your work complies with all aviation regulations, standards, and relevant technical data. Follow health and safety requirements in your work. This is a safety-sensitive role; all candidates will undergo a medical assessment (including color blindness and grip test) and drug&alcohol testing. Your Profile Trade Qualified– NZQA Level 4. Please provide relevant qualifications, including NZQA equivalency for overseas qualifications. Legally entitled to work in New Zealand. Solid work experience in a similar environment, such as aviation, automotive, or mechanical engineering.Experience working in processes and following instructions. Strong hand skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills. Effective communication skills and a strong team orientation. Passionate about your work, with pride in your performance. Commitment to safety and quality culture.Flexible and adaptable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting. HOURS OF WORK This full-time role involves a fortnightly rotating shift pattern. Overtime availability is appreciated and compensated.
