About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Restaurant Manager to join the team at Goldfinch NZ Limited in Christchurch Central, Canterbury. In this full-time role, you will oversee the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and business growth. What you'll be doingManage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of passionate hospitality professionals. Implement and monitor operational procedures to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations. What we're looking for Significant experience (1+ year) in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, focused on continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders.Thorough understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization. Experience in implementing effective operational systems and procedures. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
