We have a great team environment where we work hard, enjoy what we do, and have some fun along the way.About the Role We are currently looking for a someone with top-notch client relationship and service experience to fill a Full Time Trade Counter Sales position in our Christchurch Pipelines Branch. The days and hours are 45 hours per week, between 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with some rostered Saturdays.This role will see you: Building strong rapport with trade clients Maximising sales opportunities through offering exceptional product knowledge and customer service Providing the correct product and solution to the customer at all times Providing customer pricing and quotes Supporting and working closely with team membersAssisting with occasional promotional activities and functions if required This role will be part of a high-performing team, and to be successful in this role you will: Enjoy providing solutions and excellent customer service for our customers Understand that you need to listen to the customer, carry out a consultative process with knowledge and confidence to close the saleHave attention to detail along with organisation skills Have a passion for sales and hitting targets Knowledge of this industry or experience selling into a similar market would be ideal Be energetic, positive, and a team player What We Provide: Southern Cross Regular Care plan EAP program for team members, their partners, and dependent childrenYears of industry knowledge and on-the-job training Does this sound like you?
