Job Description - Room Attendant (HOT0BM0N) Job Number: HOT0BM0N Work Location: Chateau on the Park - Christchurch, a DoubleTree by Hilton, 189 Deans Avenue, Riccarton, Christchurch 8011 Description A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms according to brand standards and maintaining cleanliness on related floors throughout the shift. They assist guests with any questions or requests.What will I be doing? As a Room Attendant, your responsibilities include: Ensuring all work in assigned areas meets the highest cleanliness standards and adheres to Hilton policies and procedures. Protecting guests' privacy during service. Assisting guests and responding to their requests. Cleaning and replenishing supplies in guestrooms according to standards.Keeping master keys secure at all times. Maintaining neatness and proper supplies on trolleys. Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Keeping the linen room organized. Reporting any loss, damage, or maintenance issues to the Floor Supervisor. Providing courteous and professional service to guests.Fostering good relationships with team members and other departments. Reporting maintenance issues promptly. Following lost and found procedures. Resolving guest complaints effectively. Promoting hotel and Hilton products and services. Maintaining knowledge of products and services. Adhering to hotel policies, Hilton code of conduct, and team member handbook.Performing any other duties as assigned by management. What are we looking for? To succeed as a Room Attendant with Hilton, you should demonstrate: At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. A positive attitude and good teamwork skills. Proficiency in English to meet business needs. Good knowledge of daily housekeeping operations on guest floors.Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
