Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, Christchurch

We have an exciting vacancy for a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer based in Milton Keynes. The role involves working collaboratively to maintain and achieve stakeholder satisfaction, quality standards, and high levels of operational performance on all site machinery and plant. You will be great at:Fault diagnosis and repair of a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, mixers, pressure systems, and refrigeration units. Collaborating with production and technical teams to resolve engineering issues in a controlled, logical, and professional manner.Methodically diagnosing machine and system faults on production equipment. You are: Reliable with a flexible‘can do’ attitude. Accurate with good attention to detail. A team player willing to assist colleagues. Able to work to deadlines and follow instructions. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to new engineering equipment and challenges.You have: A minimum of 3 years’ multi-skilled engineering maintenance experience, ideally within FMCG or high-speed/volume production environments. Proven experience with mechanical, electrical systems, PLCs, and an understanding of control systems. Formal training in Continuous Improvement or LEAN techniques is advantageous.Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). Work Pattern Operating a continental shift pattern with 7 days off in every 14-day cycle, covering 12-hour shifts on a 2-week rota, including days and nights, weekdays and weekends. Shift times start at 6am or 6pm, with flexibility required due to the 24/7 bakery operations and potential coverage of other team members, including working over days, nights, and weekends.#J-18808-Ljbffr
