We’re looking for a solid Cable Jointer to join a crew working on electrical projects across Canterbury. If you know your way around cables, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a team that gets things done, this could be the gig for you. You’ll be helping with supply network upgrades, underground conversions, and installing key electrical gear. If you’ve got experience—great. If not, but you’re keen to learn and willing to put in the effort, we still want to hear from you.What You Need NZ Certificate in Electrical Supply Cable Jointer High Voltage Level 4 (or similar) NZ Electrical registration (EWRB) and a current practicing license Class 2 driver’s license Good written and verbalskills (keeping paperwork sorted is part of the job!) What You’ll Be Doing You'll be jointing cables from 400V to 33kVJointing and terminating LV underground cables Setting up and wiring street lights Installing transformers, RMUs, Magnefix units, cabinets, and boxes Why Work Here?
