Job Title: Permanent Class 4/5 Hydrovac Operator in Christchurch, New Zealand Salary: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with possible early starts and late finishes Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Class 4/5 Hydrovac Operator to join our team in Christchurch. This role requires a commitment to physical labour and a willingness to undertake unglamorous tasks. Perform physically demanding tasks including excavation and cleaning. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Assist with site preparation and restoration. Maintain equipment and report issues promptly.Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently. Adapt to varying work hours to meet site requirements. Requirements: Valid Class 4/5 Driver's Licence (no exceptions; applications without it will be rejected). Dangerous goods and confined spaces licences are advantageous; assistance in obtaining these is available.Clear criminal history due to site requirements. Ability to perform heavy physical work for extended periods. Flexibility to work long hours and adapt to schedule changes. Strong team player with a positive attitude.
