We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in liquid retaining structures to lead our work in the Industrial and Water markets.You will join a well-established and diverse team of structural engineers, working on a wide range of projects across the local region, New Zealand, the Pacific, and Australasia. Every day presents new challenges and unique opportunities. Overall, this role involves: Demonstrating your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project leadership while fostering a culture that values teamwork.Leading project delivery, building client relationships, and preparing proposals. Developing strong customer relationships by understanding our clients' core businesses and ensuring our services meet their expectations. Contributing to the growth and development of our structural engineers and championing innovation.Ko wai koe | About you You are a chartered structural engineer with a proven track record in delivering industrial or water projects, including experience with liquid retaining structures. These may include: Water reservoirs and tanks Water and wastewater treatment plants Additional beneficial experience includes:Design of concrete structures for liquid storage, following NZS3106 Assessment and design of steel tanks, following NZSEE Seismic Design standards Experience with cracking control in concrete structures (e.g., CIRIA C766) You enjoy learning, sharing knowledge, and bringing fresh perspectives to improve practices, quality, and client experience.You are a values-driven individual who enjoys sharing successes and delivering excellence.
