Primary Teaching Assistant, Dunedin

Protocol Education is seeking several Teaching Assistants for ongoing work in the Hastings area. We are recruiting for positions across all Key Stages from EYFS to KS2, with roles starting as soon as possible. Candidates should have previous experience in similar roles. The position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent. Pay depends on experience and role requirements.All applicants must reside in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK. The Role: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons. Manage pupils' behaviour during activities. De-escalate classroom situations appropriately. Collect and return student work at the end of lessons.The Candidate: Experience working with children. A character committed to making a positive difference in the classroom and enjoys working with young people. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with reading comprehension.
