You will be responsible for identifying and translating inpatient medical procedures, interventions, and diagnoses into code using systems such as ICD 10-AM 12th Edition (training can be provided), the Australian Coding Standards (ACS), and the Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI). This casual role offers work as and when required, with remote work options for experienced Clinical Coders trained in NZ or Australian Clinical Coding.About The Team/Service/Location Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern covers the largest geographical area in New Zealand, providing services to 350,000 people across diverse communities. We seek passionate individuals to help us continue serving our community.About You The ideal candidate will preferably have coded in ICD-10-AM 12th Edition and hold (or be studying towards) a HIMAA Clinical Coding qualification, with an understanding of clinical coding in a health setting.
