This role includes patient assessments, clinical consultations, teaching, participating in quality programs, and leadership. Provide specialist nursing care and support both in direct care and in guiding other staff managing Endocrinology patients/consumer groups/area of practice.Collaborate across the organization as a practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent, and care coordinator/case manager. Opportunity for the right candidate to advance towards becoming a Diabetes Nurse Practitioner.
