You will report to the Lead Organiser, and your role will include:Planning for regular contact and visibility at your assigned worksites/member groups Implementing campaign and sector strategies to achieve union goals in your region Identifying, developing, and coaching member leaders Skills and experience Strong relational skills to manage worksite, group, and member leader relationshipsExperience working in a union or social-impact organisation empowering individuals to advocate for their cause A current full driver’s licence An interest in publicly-funded education, commitment to Te Tiriti, unionism, and social justice Ability to work flexibly in a team environment NZEI Te Riu Roa is committed to honouring and implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
