About The Role You will be part of a team working across a range of RACP accredited runs for both Basic and Advanced Training, which include:General Medicine Cardiology Renal Endocrinology Oncology Respiratory Haematology Gastroenterology Rheumatology Older People’s Health Neurology ICU Radiation Oncology Infectious Diseases Dunedin Hospital offers the most extensive basic training programme designed to provide quality examination support, resulting in good FRACP pass rates. Support includes access to written and clinical courses, regular study groups, case preparation, and Saturday morning clinical sessions.The role offers the best of both clinical and academic worlds through extensive links to the University of Otago’s Dunedin School of Medicine, with opportunities to engage in research and teaching. About You Our ideal candidate will have: Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional registration. Check eligibility at . Training towards a career as a Physician, with interest in adult medicine for careers such as General Practice, Rural Hospital Medicine, Emergency, or Intensive Care.At least two years’ post-qualification experience and a keen interest in General Medicine. For advanced trainees, passing the FRACP and being recognized by the RACP as having advanced into this category. If applying for an advanced training position, contact the department directly.
