Tour Guide The centre has an opportunity for someone to assist in providing guided tours and visit groups to deliver presentations. Guided tours are undertaken by volunteers working in tandem to provide an informative and fun experience for our visitors. Initially supporting tours whilst familiarizing themselves with the centre's history, they will eventually progress to take on the delivery of future tours.In addition to guided tours, there is also an opportunity to visit groups and assist in the delivery of educational presentations, again this would initially be in a supportive role until confident enough to take the lead. Skills No formal qualifications required. But it would be helpful if applicants had:Good communication skills Interest in history and education Ability to engage with diverse audiences Officially the centre is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays between 10.00 and 3.00. We also have a flexible approach to group tours and presentations by adapting to customers' needs.
