Inhouse equity training, Te Reo training and associated professional development We are a rainbow tick certified workplace, the first PHO in Aotearoa New Zealand.About the role: This 12-month fixed-term role, as part of the Assurance and Performance team, will focus on reviewing, documenting, and implementing business rule changes within clinical systems to support the delivery of funded clinical programmes. You will work closely with clinical teams, programme leads, data and development specialists, and external providers to improve system functionality and access to healthcare services. A strong focus on equity to improve access to funded clinical programmes for both general practices and non-practice providers.Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring business rule accuracy&alignment by validating clinical systems’ business rules against programme sheets and Health Pathways. Supporting Connected Care&Equity Initiatives by identifying challenges in information flow between non-practice providers and general practices. Reviewing and updating business rules to enable non-practice providers to claim for selected funded clinical programmes. Collaborating with system developers to implement approved business rule changes and support user acceptance testing (UAT).Developing and maintaining documentation, including programme workflows, programme sheets, patient resources, and Health Pathways. Creating a business rule audit framework to ensure system accuracy beyond the fixed-term role. Engaging with key stakeholders to align system updates with operational needs and ensure effective communication of changes.About you - To be successful in this role you will: Hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, Data Science or postgraduate qualification in information systems, business analysis. Have minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Analyst, ideally in healthcare.Be proficient in business rule analysis, data validation, system analysis, and process mapping. Have experience working with clinical claiming and reporting systems (highly desired). Understand Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes. Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to assess system configurations and workflows.Be able to translate complex business and clinical requirements into technical specifications. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and non-clinical teams. Be skilled in stakeholder management, aligning technical solutions with business needs.Demonstrate a commitment to equity and an understanding of Māori and Pasifika health needs.
