This role is ideal for an individual eager to build a career in radio telecommunications, with all necessary training provided on the job. It offers growth potential, a good work/life balance, and competitive wages.Your daily tasks will include maintaining and installing internal and external voice and data radio networks, designing and supporting technical solutions, installing radio and data equipment in facilities and mobile units, assisting with electrical work, and implementing bespoke monitoring networks across some of New Zealand's most beautiful regions.Ideal candidates will possess: Experience in electronics and land mobile radio is desirable but not essential Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good computer skills and familiarity with various applicationsA current full Class 1 driver's license Flexibility to travel, stay away from home occasionally, and be on call on a rotating roster if needed Me pehea ki te tono | How to apply If you're ready to elevate your career and join a team that values your contributions, apply now to join Downer's ITS team.
