What You’ll Do As a Tax Senior in our Private Wealth Tax practice, you will perform high-level reviews of tax research of individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers and tax returns, as well as prepare for and assist in client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions to the client.The Team At Deloitte Tax LLP, our Private Wealth team focuses on the specialized needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners. We provide comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice, helping clients make more informed, strategic decisions relevant to their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving during their lifetime and through estate planning. Learn more about Deloitte Private Wealth Tax Services.Qualifications Required: Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2– 3 days per week 3+ years’ experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returnsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field Experience reviewing trust documents Excellent technology (e.g., Microsoft Excel and compliance software), research, and writing skills Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, depending on work and clients servedOne of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA Licensed attorney Enrolled Agent Certifications: Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP)Preferred: Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM Prior Big 4 experience Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong analytical skills; ability to articulate conclusions, planning opportunities, and risks identified through research The wage range for this role considers various factors including skill sets, experience, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The estimated range is $63,420 to $144,300, not adjusted for geographic location. Compensation decisions are case-dependent.
