Add expected salary to your profile for insights Join Our Team– Make an Impact in Resource Management We are seeking a passionate and skilled Intermediate Policy Planner Te Ao Māori to join our Strategic Planning team. This role is essential in shaping the district's future by ensuring that Te Ao Māori perspectives are meaningfully incorporated into Council’s resource management planning, policy, and strategic direction.If you have a strong understanding of planning legislation and a commitment to integrating kaupapa Māori principles, we encourage you to apply. As an Intermediate Policy Planner Te Ao Māori , you will be responsible for developing, analysing, and monitoring policies and plans related to natural and physical resources under the Resource Management Act (RMA) 1991 and other legislation. You willcollaborate with Senior and Principal Policy Planners on complex planning activities and provide advice supporting sustainable resource management in our region.You will also uphold Gisborne District Council’s role as a Treaty partner, ensuring our work reflects these responsibilities.
