As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the site management construction staff. You'll be responsible for comprehensive site construction management, ensuring the successful, safe delivery of all projects. Achieve contractual schedule. Ensure achievement of the highest quality levels on site. Provide clear direction for Vestas site management personnel.Maintain good working relationships with the customer, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Manage resourcing and staff. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risk. Manage all site costs, including site spend (subcontractor, resourcing, plant, etc.), pre-calc, post-calc. Coordinate with internal bid management and procurement departments as required.Qualifications Proven track record in site construction management– minimum of 5 years. Experience in managing general site administrative tasks and support. Intermediate IT skills, e.g., MS Office, MS Project. Wind Industry experience highly regarded. Competencies Experience in people management.Cost awareness and customer orientation. Experience managing teams in major project portfolios. Development and implementation of best practice systems and procedures. Experience managing subcontractors in remote site locations (e.g., crane, excavation, electrical, civil). Management and reporting of site scope and budgetary requirements.Providing service with direct customer interface experience. Ability to handle high-pressure situations in major construction environments. Proactive, involved, and engaged approach. Self-starter and self-motivated. Ability to inspire others as a team leader. Responsibility-seeking and accepting.Strong analytical skills. Well-organized and planning-oriented. Ability to prioritize and delegate. Energetic and enthusiastic.
