Position: SOC Security Analyst - Tier 1 Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 AM– 5:00 PM PST / West Coast USAWe are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented SOC Security Analyst to join our 24x7 follow-the-sun Security Operations Center team in North America. You will monitor cybersecurity threats in real time, analyze endpoint data, assess Malops, and assist partners in responding effectively. This role is suitable for a highly motivated junior individual aiming to grow in a leading cyber organization.Responsibilities Monitor security events continuously during your shift. Investigate and resolve security incidents within SLAs, providing triage, analysis, and timely responses. Escalate incidents according to protocols to Senior Analysts and SOC Managers. Respond professionally to customer inquiries via email, phone, or other channels; escalate when necessary.Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, collaborative. Proficiency with Windows (required), macOS and Linux (preferred). Strong understanding of networking concepts. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.Familiarity with frameworks like Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Atomic Red Team. Experience with Sysinternals tools. Knowledge of malware and attack techniques (e.g., code injection, persistence). Experience with malware analysis methodologies. Nice to Have Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, Cisco CyberOps Associate, or Cisco CCNA.Experience: Hands-on with platforms like TryHackMe, Hack The Box, Blue Team Labs Online. Education: Undergraduate degree in a technology-related field focusing on networking, OS, and cybersecurity fundamentals. Compensation Base pay: $65,000 - $75,000.
