· Accommodation provided · Located in the Lake Brunner area of the West Coast · Competitive salary, health and life insurance 471ha effective farm, peak milking 940 cows through a 60-bail rotary shed The Opportunity Join our close-knit team on Kotuku Dairy on the West Coast and develop yourtechnical skills on the farm.Daily, you’ll follow a farm schedule to get the cows in and milk, and perform general farm duties like fencing and spraying weeds. Ideally, you’ll be able to ride a two-wheeler, but we’re happy to help you with training if needed. There are four team members on the farm (including the manager). The team has a good atmosphere, enjoys a good laugh, and knows when to get the work done.We also have a robust health and safety regime at Pāmu, with well-maintained, up-to-date farm equipment. Kotuku runs a 6/2 roster till Christmas and 6/3 for the rest of the year, allowing you to schedule time with family, friends, and personal interests. The Farm Kotuku Dairy Unit is in the Greymouth / Lake Brunner area of the West Coast. We peak milk 940 cows in a 60-bail rotary cow shed with ACRs. The farm spans 500 ha with 471 ha effective.About You As a team player with a positive attitude, you will have: Farm experience preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential. Excellent work ethic and positive outlook. Ability to ride a two-wheel motorcycle and drive a side by side (training can be provided). First-class attitude towards Health and Safety and Animal Welfare.Restricted or full driver’s licence.
