Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist, Greymouth

We have a great opportunity for a geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist to join our busy Greymouth team. At DO, our people are the key to the success of our business. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience throughout our South Island offices, with civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering, land surveying, planning, and contaminated land teams. The type of work is varied, ranging from residential and commercial development to large scale roading and infrastructure projects. This position will be a balance of office and field work and will involve working with our engineering teams as well as a range of clients and contractors.Our ideal applicant has the following: a degree qualification in geotechnical engineering or postgraduate qualification in engineering geology (or similar) a minimum of three years relevant New Zealand experience a team player strong written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detailexperience in: site investigations and undertaking soil sampling, testing, and analysis slope stability analysis, liquefaction studies, retaining walls, foundations, and pile design construction monitoring, supervision, and contractor liaison. #J-18808-Ljbffr
