Join our dedicated team to help maintain our facilities and provide a suitable environment for our tūroro (patients) and whānau (families). You will be part of a small, fast-paced team that plays an essential role in maintaining Te Nīkau, Grey Hospital, and Health Centre. The team provides exceptional cleaning services 365 days a year.Salary : Starting from $27.80 per hour, based on the Etū Multi-Employer Collective Agreement. You will be responsible for: Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and lavatories. Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes.Operating and maintaining equipment safely around tūroro (patients) and whānau (families). Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols. About you We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and flexible candidate who is passionate about cleaning. This role is ideal for someone looking to help make the hospital a hygienic and safe space for our tūroro (patients) and whānau (families).Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills. High level of patient confidentiality. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Ability to follow Health and Safety procedures. Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.Ongoing training and development opportunities. Time and a half on weekends and double time on Public Holidays!
