Do you have a passion for growing the land and people around you?You will manage Bell Hill Dairy Farm and oversee the day-to-day operations of the farm and team. You’ll have the full support of a Business Manager to help you settle into the role and assist in areas such as financial reporting, planning, or pasture management. Together, you will work to deliver quality results.You Will Be Responsible For Day-to-day management of dairy operations Leading, coaching, and mentoring your team Organising logistics and maintaining accurate data Managing risks and solving problems as they arise The Farm Bell Hill Dairy Unit is located in the Greymouth / Lake Brunner area of the West Coast. We peak milk 920 cows through a 60-bail rotary. The farm spans humped and hollowed terrain of 504 ha, with 445 ha effective.About You You will have excellent leadership capabilities, a willingness to learn new systems, and value people, animals, and the environment. You Will Also Have Strong dairy farming experience Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication skills Ability to use farm management technology systems and record-keeping equipmentEffective time and people management skills First-class attitude towards Health and Safety, Animal Welfare, and Environmental Management Current and full NZ driver’s license Familiarity with ag tech such as Farmax and FarmIQ is helpful but not required.
