Your role will play a vital partin ensuring that the patient and their whānau is at the centre of ourhealthcare delivery. You will be dedicated to implementing sustainable clinicalgovernance processes that reflects optimal service delivery and effectivesystem change alongside our other leaders to ensure that Health New Zealand WestCoast is excelling in providing care toour rural and remote communities.About the Team/Service/ Location Our model of care, Rural Generalist, empowers pae ora(wellness) for individuals and whānau that is equitable, sustainable, andenabled by inter-professional ways of working. Our mahi (work) and skillsetreflect the diverse social, cultural, and economic needs of our community’senabling excellence in rural health outcomes.About you Experience drivingstrategy and change within a broad, diverse and complex environment Demonstratedunderstanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and cultural safety competencies inthe practice setting Extensive experiencein professional nursing leadership with a focus on primary and communityas well as operational managementCommitment to workeffectively and develop strong strategic relationships within the widerhealth system team Evidence of utilisingnursing theory/research to nursing practice with demonstrated evidence ofmeeting advanced leadership competencies.
