Laboratory Technician, Hokitika

Working across a wide variety of dairy tests and products, you will pride yourself on your attention to detail and work only to the highest standards. Innovation and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent organisational and communication skills, are essential, as is the ability to work confidently with computer systems. While full training can be provided, any previous experience working in a similar role and ideally working at (or on your way towards) Key Technical Personnel (KTP) level would be warmly welcomed.Working on a 3 days on, 2 days off roster (10-hour shifts from 7 am to 5 pm), your responsibilities will include performing testing on final products within our quality assurance guidelines to meet our ISO 17025 accreditation. You will also learn the rationale behind the testing and then have the ability to troubleshoot a test or method if required. You will be working with state-of-the-art equipment in a progressive and expanding company.In summary, we are looking for someone who ideally has: A tertiary science qualification, or a minimum of NCEA level 3 in maths, science, and English, or previous laboratory experience.
