Field Technician (Greymouth)

Green Light Worldwide has an exciting opportunity for a Field Services Technician to provide services within our New Zealand consulting delivery team. We require individuals with excellent communication skills, a passion for helping people with IT-related queries, and experience in a break-fix capacity with both hardware and software solutions.The main responsibilities for the Field Services Technician include providing repair and support to end users, installing hardware, and maintaining excellent customer service levels onsite. Candidates should be self-motivated, keen learners, and capable of working independently on customer sites.As part of this engagement, full training will be provided onsite over a 5-day period, for which you will be compensated. All travel, accommodation, and incidentals will also be covered. Responsibilities: Supporting hardware and services onsite, including break-fix callouts as per client requirements.Investigating, diagnosing, and escalating faults for resolution. Deploying payment system upgrades and integrating with POS systems, working with customers to identify and resolve issues. Installing, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting EFTPOS hardware and software. Providing onsite training, advice, and configuration assistance for merchants.Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective resolution of customer faults. Some weekend work may be required on a rotating roster. Requirements: Full NZ driver’s license and own vehicle; per km allowance provided. Experience in hardware resolutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot and implement creative solutions. Excellent telephone, client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
