The ASB Commercial Banking team manages middle-market business customers (turnover between $5 million to $30 million) and is committed to providing the best business offerings to New Zealand. This team helps customers realize their goals by understanding their businesses and needs.As a Commercial Manager, you will manage and drive a high-value Commercial Banking customer portfolio, while also identifying, developing, and acquiring new-to-bank business. You will grow successful relationships with customers and develop a strong network of contacts to leverage. You will assist your customers in achieving their financial goals by providing simple solutions across various banking products and services, balancing profitability with operational and credit risk protection.This is a permanent position based in ASB's Hamilton office, with a ToT provided. Your relationship and people skills, coupled with an innovative approach, will help you build credibility with your customers and make your mark in the industry. You should have proven experience in commercial banking with demonstrated success in new business acquisition and effective customer relationship management.As this role involves direct reports, you will be a natural leader and mentor with a passion for developing others.
