Te Kowhiringa - The Opportunity Our Enliven Day Service is a Monday to Friday, community-based programme focused on engaging older adults in high-quality, meaningful activities within a safe and enriching environment.As a Deputy Team Leader, you will follow the direction of the Team Leader by delivering a person-centered service that meets individual needs and maintains high standards. Your role includes coaching team members, collaborating with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders, supporting administrative tasks, and managing resources effectively. Prioritizing cultural safety, client and whanau/family satisfaction, and enabling client independence are key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will work alongside the team to drive clients to and from the programme, engage with clients, and facilitate group activities.Ngā pūkenga kei a koe - Your Skills and Experience We'd love to hear from you if you have leadership skills and experience organizing and facilitating group activities for older people. You will also have: Experience in aged care within a community or rehabilitation setting A Full New ZealandDriver's Licence (international licences are not accepted)Excellent communication skills, including clear spoken English Client observation and documentation skills A sound understanding of working in a diverse cultural environment Administration experience High level of computer literacy Experience coaching others Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressureEffective time management and prioritization skills Ngā āhuatanga hirahira o te mahi nei - Highlights of Working with Us Our people are critical to our success.
