New Business Manager, Hamilton

We are seeking a New Business Manager to join our Central North Island Leadership team. The Central region consists of, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Gisborne, and Hawkes Bay, with a revenue of $60M+. This role will be based in Hamilton. You’ll be a strategic thinker with the ability to build strong and enduring relationships with our customers. You’ll win the right work, in the right place for the right clients, at the right time, at the right price – to ensure we position the business for success.You’ll get involved in activities like: Developing a comprehensive understanding of the local industry, councils and markets Long term strategic positioning for clients Managing and aligning opportunities with internal governance Developing a cohesive New Business Team About you We are lookingfor someone with a wealth of experience in the Civil Construction Industry that has managed bid governance tendering work. You will be an integral link between the customers and the bid team during tender phase and ensure seamless handover to the delivery team.You’ll also bring with you: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the civil construction industry A solid understanding of the technical, contractual and financial requirements involved in tendering and delivering infrastructure projects Proven project delivery experience ideally across 3 waters, foundations, transportation and ports&marine You will have proven leadership skills and an advanced knowledge base and network within the industry You will be tenacious, resilient, strategic and have a natural ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
