This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position (Silverdale, Auckland) working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work if required. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately costing projects to ensure smooth, uninterrupted manufacturing and delivery of high-quality frames and trusses. You'll work closely with our production and detailing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with NZS3604 standards.What You’ll Bring Previous experience in the building supplies or frame and truss industry Strong understanding of construction methodology and NZS3604:2011 Familiarity with MiTek software (preferred) National Certificate in Frame and Truss Manufacturing or a Quantity Surveying qualification (ideal, but not essential)Strong attention to detail and accuracy in costing and quoting A continuous improvement mindset (lean manufacturing experience a bonus) Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver's License Strong communication and relationship-building skills Your Day-to-Day Prepare accurate quotes, costing sheets, and manual drawings for a range of projectsEnsure all jobs are costed correctly to support production and profitability targets Liaise with project managers, detailers, architects, designers, and engineers to ensure accuracy Monitor job profitability and ensure compliance with NZS3604 standards Minimize interruptions to production by providing clear and accurate informationContribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes The Perks Career growth opportunities within a successful, locally owned business Staff buying privileges across Mitre 10 and Columbus Coffee stores Work with state-of-the-art equipment in a semi-automated facility Strong team culture focused on collaboration and qualityOngoing training and development opportunities What’s Next?
