An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Assistant Brewer within a boutique brewery operation located in Hamilton.Job Description Bring your creative beer making flair and innovation to this newly created role. This position will suit a brewer who is passionate about brewing with great knowledge and experience in the commercial beer-making process. You will support the entire brewing process, from grain selection to the final product. This role may require occasional travel within NZ and candidates must be willing to obtain LCQ and duty manager certification.Qualifications To be successful in this role, ideally you will bring the following skills and experience: Prior experience in production brewing with at least two years of beer making experience. Comprehensive knowledge of brewing processes and equipment. Sound organisational skills for inventory management and recipe development.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A level of physical fitness for handling all brewing tasks. Flexibility in work schedule. Additional Information Competitive salary based on experience. Work hours: 30 per week.
