OneStaff is seeking experienced Painting Trades Workers. Reliability and motivation are essential. Flexibility to work across the country is preferred as you may be assigned to various locations to support our projects. Responsibilities include all activities related to preparation and application of paint, plaster, epoxy, and polyurethane coatings, including but not limited to:Preparing and operating on-site equipment such as scaffolding and ladders, covering fixtures and surfaces. Preparing surfaces by scraping, washing, filling holes and cracks, removing old paint, vacuuming, and sweeping. Sandblasting and water blasting to prepare concrete and metal surfaces. Reading blueprints and instructions to determine requirements, materials, and tools.Applying sealers and solvents to interior and exterior surfaces like plaster, concrete, and wood. Repairing chips, holes, and cracks thoroughly. Preparing and mixing paints and additives. Applying paints and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprays. Maintaining a clean workspace, equipment, and tools.Following health and safety guidelines. Performing any other duties as assigned. Pay rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Skills and experience required: At least 2.5 years of relevant painting experience or a relevant qualification.Good time management, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Willingness to work in various locations across New Zealand. Commitment to learning and safety practices. Reliability and hard work. Location: Multiple locations across New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, and others. This is a permanent, full-time role.
