Your function As an Account Manager within the Food and Agriculture (F&A) Sales team, you will be responsible for driving incremental new business to DLL through Relationship Management and Business Development activities, across a mix of DLL’s global and local partnerships. You will work closely with representatives of existing and prospective vendor partners and resellers across Australia and New Zealand, and their end-user customers as applicable.The role also involves liaising on designated accounts with internal departments of DLL, including Business Support, Credit, Settlements, Customer Service, Collections, Finance, and Asset Management. You will be directly responsible for key designated accounts, with individual sales targets. Typical KPIs include new business volume, margin, other income, partner satisfaction, call activity, and compliance. You will report to the Country Sales Manager for New Zealand within the Food and Agriculture Global Business Unit.Day-to-day Responsibilities Expand and maintain existing partnerships through proactive relationship management, including face-to-face visits to major customers and partners. Increase new business volume and DLL's share of partner business through regular call cycles, problem solving, and process improvements.Develop and execute program management strategies to achieve/exceed sales budgets for existing partners, including new business volume, margin, and fee income, with forecasting and pipeline management. Train and develop partner sales teams to ensure high levels of finance penetration and attract a high-quality customer base.Monitor and follow-up on leads in the pipeline with existing partners and prospects. Handle first-line escalation for non-standard inquiries, including pricing, changes in Terms&Conditions, priority deal management, and settlement exceptions. Support partner queries on deal status and other matters. Collaborate with partners to drive efficiencies and process improvements, streamlining handling of applications, approvals, and settlements. Work closely with Sales Support teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.All Members Enjoy Two days per year volunteering for a local charity. Strong understanding of sales processes, equipment finance documentation, and credit/risk management.Experience in identifying customer needs and exceeding expectations. Minimum of 3 years in a relevant role. Experience in the Food and Agriculture industry is a plus.
